Job Description
Instructional Aide Subs are needed to provide essential support to students within local schools. This opportunity is perfect for compassionate professionals seeking flexible, as-needed work in a structured educational environment. As an Instructional Aide, you will work 1:1 with students, helping them succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally while being a vital part of their daily school experience. Flexible per diem scheduling allows you to take assignments that fit your availability and make a direct impact on students lives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students in classrooms, focusing on academic, behavioral, and social needs
- Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as guided by teachers and school staff
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
- Implement behavior support strategies and follow students individualized plans (IEPs) when applicable
- Help with mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all
School Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18
- TB test in accordance with district guidelines
- Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical assistance as needed
- Must have current clearances or obtain them before starting
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT training or experience a plus
- Demonstrates reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
