Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Modesto, California

What Youll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Assist students individually or in small groups, following teacher direction
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and participate in classroom activities
• Follow behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist students with lifting if required
• Completion of TB test (per school requirements)
• Willingness to obtain school background clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in classrooms, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials (not required, but a plus)
• Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
