What You'll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance under the direction of teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and support IEP goals as applicable
• Assist with mobility, routine supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Current TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and assist with occasional lifting
• All clearances current or obtainable before starting

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in education, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (a plus, but not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
