Per Diem Teacher Aide | Modesto, California

Instructional Aide Subs are needed for flexible, school-based assignments near Modesto, CA! These per diem opportunities are ideal for compassionate, dependable professionals seeking meaningful work supporting students in K-12 settings.

In this as-needed role, you will provide 1:1 support to students, working closely with teachers and school staff to encourage classroom participation and growth. Accept shifts based on your availability, and make a daily impact while maintaining a flexible schedule.

What Youll Do:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom environments
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by school personnel
• Help students navigate classroom routines, transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior intervention plans and follow IEPs when required
• Offer support for mobility, supervision, and personal care
• Help create and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid TB test (per school requirements)
• Mild/Moderate Certification required
• Willingness to obtain necessary clearances prior to starting
• Preferred: Experience in schools, special education, child care, or behavioral health
• Experience with special needs, autism, or supporting behavioral challenges is a plus
• Must be patient, reliable, and a collaborative team member

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
