Per Diem Paraeducator in Mira Loma, CA

Make a daily difference as an Instructional Aide Substitute, providing critical support to students within a structured school environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Assist teachers and school staff with 1:1 or small-group instruction
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation
• Follow behavior support plans and implement IEPs as directed
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care when necessary
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Must have or be willing to obtain up-to-date background clearances

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience helping students with special needs, autism, or behavioral/emotional support
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus (not mandatory)
• Demonstrates reliability, patience, and a team-oriented approach
