Per Diem Classroom Aide | Marysville, California

Make a difference in the lives of students as an Instructional Aide Substitute, supporting a range of classroom needs on a flexible, per diem basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with academic, social, and behavioral needs within the classroom setting
• Support students 1:1 or in small groups as directed by school staff and teachers
• Help facilitate classroom routines, transitions, and overall participation
• Implement individualized behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Provide assistance with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks
• Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment where every student is respected

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, and at least 18 years of age
• Current TB test (in accordance with district guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Willingness to complete or update required clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT interventions is a plus, but not required
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude are highly valued
