Per Diem Teacher Assistant | Marysville, California

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed for flexible, per diem opportunities supporting students in a school-based environment near Marysville, CA. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Offer individualized or small-group assistance under teacher direction
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Follow behavior support plans and implement IEP accommodations as instructed
• Support students personal care, mobility, and overall supervision needs
• Help ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Compliance with TB testing and school clearance requirements
• Able to walk, stand, and lift as needed during assistance
• Willing to secure clearances before starting if not already held

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, child care, or behavioral health settings
• Experience working with students with special needs, behavioral challenges, or autism
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods is a plus (not required)
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative team spirit
