Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially, both 1:1 and in small groups
• Follow teachers and staff directions to provide targeted support
• Help students with daily classroom routines, transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and adhere to student IEPs as necessary
• Provide mobility assistance, supervision, and personal care when required
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test in accordance with local district protocols
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting tasks
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required but a plus)
• Reliable, patient, and strong collaborator
