School Paraprofessional subs are needed to provide important support to students in the classroom setting. These flexible, per diem opportunities allow you to choose assignments that fit your schedule while making a real impact in schools near Mariposa, CA. Work as an Instructional Aide, supporting students 1:1 or in small groups and assisting school staff to ensure every learner can thrive.

As a paraprofessional in this environment, youll:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classrooms
• Provide direct assistance to students (individually or in small groups) as guided by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs as needed
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care requirements
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all students

Requirements to get started:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test (per school district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Ability to provide or obtain current clearances before starting

Preferred qualities:

• Experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (not required)
• Reliability, patience, and a strong team-oriented attitude
