Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed for dynamic per diem opportunities within school-based settings near Marina Del Rey, CA. In this as-needed role, you will provide 1:1 or small-group support directed by teachers and school staff, responding to classroom coverage needs on a flexible schedule that works for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially throughout the school day
• Deliver one-on-one or small-group assistance, following guidance from classroom educators
• Aid students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and IEP accommodations as needed
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age 18
• District-compliant TB test (prior to assignment)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with student lifting when required
• Clearances up-to-date or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative commitment
