Per Diem Instructional Aide in Manteca, CA

Instructional Aide substitutes play a key role in supporting schools and making a genuine difference for students in need of personalized assistance. What youll do:

• Support students in classrooms, providing 1:1 or small group assistance as directed by teachers or school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Supervise, ensure student safety, and assist with mobility or personal care
• Foster a respectful, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as required
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to provide clearance documentation prior to starting assignments

Preferred background:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or similar settings
• Familiarity working with students on IEPs, those with autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is helpful but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient, and a strong team player
