Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Manteca, California

Instructional Aide Subs are needed for per diem opportunities in a rewarding school-based setting. These flexible positions enable you to support students 1:1, fostering their growth and engagement both academically and socially. As an Instructional Aide, youll work alongside teachers and school staff, helping students thrive in the classroom while making a genuine difference each day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students individually or in small groups, assisting with classwork and social skills
• Help implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as directed
• Facilitate participation in daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks as needed
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
• Communicate effectively with school staff and utilize in-app chat support for immediate assistance

Required Credentials:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain or present a recent TB test (per school requirements)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Willingness to complete required clearances prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Work experience in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is valued, but not mandatory
• Dependable, patient, and committed to teamwork
