Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Manteca, CA

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to provide essential classroom and individualized support in a dynamic, school-based setting near Manteca, CA. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students in classroom environments.
• Provide focused 1:1 or small group support as directed by educators.
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement.
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and IEPs as applicable.
• Support students mobility needs, general supervision, and personal care if needed.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Up-to-date (or willing to obtain) TB test per school requirements.
• Able to stand, walk, and provide support with lifting as necessary.
• Current clearances, or willingness to get them prior to starting.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting.
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are a plus (not required).
• Reliable, adaptable, and a strong team player.
