Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct academic and behavioral support to students in classroom environments
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions for students
• Work 1:1 or with small groups under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Implement individualized behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Support students with mobility, supervision, or personal care requirements
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Recent TB test (in line with school policy)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when required
• Current background/clearance checks or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Work in educational, child care, special education, or behavioral health settings
• Background in supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are advantageous but not required
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and commitment to teamwork
