As an Instructional Aide, youll support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, providing essential academic, behavioral, and social assistance under the guidance of dedicated education professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom environment
• Providing 1:1 or small group support as directed by school staff
• Helping students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Implementing behavior support plans and following Individual Education Plans (IEPs) as applicable
• Supporting students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Requirements (in accordance with school compliance standards):

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed
• TB test as required by the district
• Willingness to obtain required clearances prior to starting

Preferred experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (not required but valued)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative team player
