Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Lynwood, CA

Instructional Aide Substitute positions are available for compassionate individuals eager to make a genuine difference in students lives. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in classroom settings with academic, behavioral, and social tasks
• Offer one-on-one or small group assistance based on teacher and school staff direction
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and IEPs as needed
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care for students
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test in accordance with district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when required
• Current school clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience highly desirable (not required)
• Reliability, patience, and collaborative spirit
