Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with academics, social skills, and behavioral needs within classroom settings
• Offer 1:1 and small group support as directed by teachers and other staff
• Aid students in daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Negative TB test (per district guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when appropriate
• Current background clearances (or willing to obtain prior to starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Skills supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques a plus
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
