Per Diem Teacher Aide | Los Angeles, California

Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to provide essential support to students in local schools on a per diem, flexible basis. In this rewarding role, you'll step in as needed to assist teachers and help students thrive academically, behaviorally, and sociallymaking a daily difference while working closely with school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group support to students under teacher guidance
• Assist students with classroom routines, participation, and daily transitions
• Promote positive behaviors and implement approved support plans, including IEPs
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Supervise and support students with mobility or personal care needs as needed

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if required
• Willingness to complete all necessary background checks and clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (helpful but not mandatory)
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative team approach
