Per Diem Paraeducator in Los Angeles, CA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed to provide valuable support to students within structured school environments near Los Angeles, CA. Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support for students in classroom settings
• Provide focused 1:1 or small-group assistance based on student needs
• Help with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs when required
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to complete a TB test and meet school district compliance
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as necessary
• Current school clearances (or willingness to obtain before starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a plus
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
