In this rewarding position, youll work 1:1 or with small groups of students, partnering with teachers and staff to foster academic, social, and behavioral growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students in classroom environments
• Work closely with teachers to deliver individualized assistance
• Help students navigate daily routines, classroom transitions, and participate fully
• Follow IEPs and behavior support plans as needed
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, and at least 18 years of age
• Ability to complete a TB test (per school requirements)
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and offer lifting assistance as needed
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are a plus, though not required
• Strong reliability, patience, and collaborative spirit
