Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Los Angeles, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer 1:1 support for students in the classroom as directed by teachers and staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, transitions, and medical needs
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Uphold a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to facilitate student success

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Current TB test (according to district standards)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Willingness to obtain all required clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience is appreciated but not required
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach to supporting children

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
