Per Diem Instructional Aide - Los Angeles, CA

Instructional Aide substitutes are needed on a flexible, per diem basis to provide vital one-on-one support to students in a structured school setting near Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities:

• Work directly with students to support academic, behavioral, and social success within classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as instructed by teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavioral support strategies and follow IEPs when applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as necessary
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive classroom culture

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical support as needed
• Current TB test (per school district standards)
• Must hold or be willing to obtain all required clearances before starting
• Previous experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting is a plus
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges preferred
• Knowledge of CPI, PMT, or RBT methods is a bonus, but not required
• Dependable, patient, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
