Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to provide meaningful support within K-12 classrooms near Los Angeles, CA. Key Responsibilities:

• Offer consistent, caring 1:1 or small-group support to students, guided by teachers and school staff
• Help students navigate classroom routines, transitions, and daily activities
• Implement and follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies
• Support personal care, mobility, and supervision needs as required
• Foster an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment for all learners

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with physical tasks as needed
• Current (or willing to obtain) TB test and required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience and Qualities:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity supporting learners with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience valued, but not mandatory
• Demonstrated patience, dependability, and ability to collaborate with a team
