Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom environments
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior intervention plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
• Support student mobility, supervision, and provide personal care when required
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere for all children

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test as required by the district
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform light lifting
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience and Attributes:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, but not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
