Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance under the direction of teachers and staff
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and help encourage student participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs when needed
• Support supervision, mobility, and personal care duties as required
• Maintain a respectful, safe, and welcoming environment for all students

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test in accordance with district policy
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current or willingness to obtain all required clearances before beginning work

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience in educational, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity with supporting students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (a bonus, but not mandatory)
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative attitude
