Instructional Aide Subs are needed to provide vital support to students in school settings near Los Angeles, CA. This per diem, as-needed position offers flexibilityideal for compassionate professionals committed to making a difference and seeking meaningful work-life balance.

As an Instructional Aide, you will collaborate with teachers and school staff to assist students both academically and behaviorally. Your primary focus will be delivering 1:1 or small-group support, ensuring students active participation in classroom routines, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academic, behavioral, and social development in classroom and school settings.
• Provide direct 1:1 and small-group assistance based on teacher or staff direction.
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and general participation.
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs as required.
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care needs as needed.
• Maintain a respectful, safe, and supportive atmosphere for all students.

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• TB test per district standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting when necessary.
• Current background clearances (or willingness to obtain before starting).

Preferred Background:

• Experience working in school, special education, or childcare environments.
• Familiarity with supporting students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude.
