Responsibilities include:

• Providing academic, behavioral, and social support to students under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Assisting individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and engagement
• Helping students transition through daily routines and classroom activities
• Implementing behavior support plans and following IEPs as directed
• Supporting mobility, supervision, and, when needed, personal care needs
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere

School requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Current TB test per district requirements
• Able to stand, walk, and occasionally assist with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience in CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
