Key Role Responsibilities:

• Support students academic, behavioral, and social development in classroom settings
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and boost classroom engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs when required
• Aid with supervision, mobility, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to meet TB testing requirements (per district protocols)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, ASD, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (not required, but valued)
• Reliable, patient, collaborative team player
