In this role, youll work alongside teachers and school staff to offer 1:1 or small-group assistance, ensuring students receive the academic, behavioral, and social support essential for their day-to-day success. Whether guiding daily routines, implementing behavior plans, or assisting students with special needs, your compassionate support will be invaluable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small group support as directed by school staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Implement IEPs and behavior support plans as needed
• Help with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test (per district guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as required
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and cooperative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
