Instructional Assistant - Long Beach, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must complete all onboarding processes before starting
• Proven track record as a paraprofessional in educational settings
• Experience working with K-12 student populations strongly preferred
• Ability to follow instructional plans and provide effective classroom support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting a positive school climate

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students within general and special education classrooms
• Assist with implementing lesson plans and adapting materials as directed by teachers
• Foster a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for all learners
• Monitor student progress and contribute to reporting and documentation needs
• Support students in developing academic, social, and behavioral skills
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to address individual student needs effectively
