Per Diem Teacher Aide | Long Beach, California

What Youll Be Doing:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Offer individualized and small-group assistance, following the direction of teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs as needed
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care
• Create an inclusive, safe, and respectful learning environment

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous roles in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (but not required)
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude
