You will provide essential 1:1 or small-group assistance, working closely with teachers and school staff to help students academically, behaviorally, and socially throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Offer individualized or small-group guidance as directed
• Assist students with daily schedules, transitions, and fostering classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
• Provide supervision, ensure safety, and support mobility or personal care requirements
• Uphold a respectful and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students

Qualifications (School Compliance Requirements):

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain a district-required TB test
• Clearances must be current or obtained prior to starting work
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting if necessary

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare environments
• Experience supporting students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols is beneficial (not mandatory)
• Reliable, patient, and committed to collaborative teamwork
