School Paraprofessional Substitutes are needed to fill flexible, per diem opportunities supporting students in school-based settings near Long Beach, CA. As an Instructional Aide, you'll play a crucial role in assisting students one-on-one, helping them achieve academic, social, and behavioral success under the guidance of teachers and school professionals. What Youll Do:

• Provide classroom support to students, focusing on academic, behavioral, and social development

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current TB test (per district guidelines)
• Ability to actively assist students, including standing and lifting if necessary
• School clearances must be current or obtained before starting

Preferred Background:

• Previous work in educational, child care, behavioral, or special education settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not required
