Instructional Aide Subs are needed for per diem, school-based opportunities near Long Beach, CA. Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom environments, addressing academic, behavioral, and social needs
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by school staff and teachers
• Help with daily routines, transitions, and engagement in classroom activities
• Implement individual behavior support plans and follow IEPs as directed
• Provide support for mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning space for all students

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Recent TB test (must meet district standards)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current school-required clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (not mandatory)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
