Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed for flexible, per diem opportunities supporting students in school settings near Lodi, CA. Work as needed, following school coverage needs, and play a vital role assisting students one-on-one and in small groups.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classrooms
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance at the direction of teachers and staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEP guidelines as needed
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current TB test (per school requirements)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Willingness to obtain necessary clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required, but a plus)
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented nature
