What Youll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students in classroom settings
• Work directly with students 1:1 or in small groups, collaborating with teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and smooth transitions throughout the day
• Implement behavior support plans and ensure adherence to IEPs as directed
• Support students with mobility, supervision, or personal care needs when required
• Help sustain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• ONE of the following: Active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certification, or at least 36 college credits
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to secure a current TB test (per district requirements)
• Capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Up-to-date background clearances (or willingness to obtain them)

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with autism or behavioral challenges is highly valued
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience welcomed, but not required
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit
