Per Diem Instructional Aide - Live Oak, CA

What You'll Do:

• Provide targeted academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Work 1:1 or with small groups, helping students stay engaged and on-task
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, daily participation, and behavior support plans
• Implement IEP goals as directed; follow through on individualized student plans
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required
• Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current TB test (per district guidelines)
• Capable of standing, walking, assisting with lifting as needed
• Able to secure necessary clearances before starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Background in supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience viewed favorably (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
