Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Littlerock, California

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to support a variety of classrooms in a dynamic school environment near Littlerock, CA. As an Instructional Aide, you'll play a vital role in fostering academic, behavioral, and social growth among students. You will follow directions from teachers and staff, ensuring students receive the personal support they need. Responsibilities may include academic assistance, implementing behavior plans, supporting daily routines, and assisting with mobility or personal care requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support in classrooms as directed
• Assist with classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Follow behavior support plans and IEPs when applicable
• Supervise and support students safety, mobility, and personal care needs
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Ability to pass TB test (per district standards)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed
• Clearance checks completed or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in school, special education, child care, or behavioral health settings
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative personality
