Per Diem Para Professional in Littlerock, CA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed for immediate per diem opportunities supporting students in a dynamic school-based environment near Littlerock, CA. Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students, according to teachers and school staffs direction.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance to facilitate learning and participation.
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and engagement in instructional activities.
• Follow IEPs and implement behavior support plans effectively.
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care needs, ensuring student safety and inclusion.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe classroom environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• TB test in accordance with district standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting when necessary.
• Current clearances (or willingness to obtain them before starting).

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is beneficial, though not required.
• Dependability, patience, and a collaborative attitude highly valued.
