Instructional Aide Substitute opportunities are available for compassionate, reliable professionals eager to make a difference in students educational journeys in a structured school environment. By providing 1:1 or small-group support, you will help foster learning, promote positive behaviors, and ensure a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially throughout the school day
• Providing individualized or small-group assistance under the direction of school staff
• Assisting with daily routines, transitions, and encouraging classroom participation
• Implementing behavior support plans and following IEP guidelines, as needed
• Aiding with mobility, supervision, and personal care when necessary
• Maintaining a respectful, supportive, and safe classroom environment

Requirements for consideration:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a TB test (as required by the district)
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Willingness to complete or update all necessary clearances before starting

Preferred experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials a plus
• Demonstrated patience, reliability, and a collaborative approach
