Per Diem Paraeducator in Lincoln, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Assist students with academic tasks, behavior management, and social development
• Offer individualized or small-group support as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students with classroom routines, transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior plans and follow IEP guidelines when applicable
• Support students mobility, provide supervision, and address personal care needs as necessary
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Completion of TB test (in accordance with district policy)
• Capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting responsibilities
• Ability to obtain required background clearances prior to your start date

Preferred Experience

• Previous employment in education, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, not mandatory
• Dependable, patient, and strong team collaboration skills
