An inclusive school setting near Lincoln, CA, is searching for a flexible Substitute Paraprofessional to support teachers and students when regular staff are absent. This contract role is vital for maintaining continuity in the classroom while fostering a positive and structured learning environment for all students, including those with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

• Offer academic and behavioral support within general and special education classrooms.
• Reinforce instructional content and assist in delivering differentiated lessons.
• Supervise students during class times, breaks, and transitions.
• Document classroom observations and help collect student data as needed.
• Maintain classroom routines and expectations in the absence of regular paraprofessional staff.

Qualifications / Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant coursework or hands-on experience is a plus.
• Previous involvement in educational, youth programs, or behavioral support roles is advantageous.
• Adaptability to work across different classrooms and grade levels as needed.
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with students and staff.
