Job Description

Position Highlights
- Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom environment
- Provide tailored 1:1 or group support as directed by teaching staff
- Help with students daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
- Implement established behavior support plans and follow IEPs as indicated
- Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- TB test compliant with district requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
- Willingness to obtain educator certification and all required clearances before starting
Preferred Background
- Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Background with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus but not required
- Reliable, patient, team-oriented, and adaptable
