Per Diem Instructional Aide - Liberty, MO

Support students academic and social growth in a dynamic school environment as a Paraprofessional Substitute. This per diem, as-needed role offers flexible scheduling to fit your availability while providing meaningful assistance in classrooms within the Liberty, MO area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group academic and behavioral support under teacher guidance
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and participation in classroom activities
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) where applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to ensure student safety
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certification, or completion of 36 college credits
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current TB test per district policies
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Must have all necessary clearances or be willing to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in education, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT is advantageous but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative with a team-oriented approach
