Per Diem Paraeducator in Levittown, PA

In this role, you will:

• Assist classroom teachers by supporting students individually or in groups
• Help students engage with academic activities, stay on task, and follow daily routines
• Support students with special needs in mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed (specific to PCA roles)
• Carry out IEPs and behavior plans with guidance from certified staff
• Foster a welcoming, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

To be considered, youll need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Pennsylvania school employment requirements, including:
  • PA Act 34 Criminal Background Check
  • PA Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
  • PA Act 114 FBI Fingerprinting
  • TB test per district guidelines
• Ability to assist with student mobility, standing, walking, and lifting

Preferred candidates bring:

• Experience working in school, special education, or child care settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, RBT, or similar training (preferred but not required)
• Professionalism, compassion, and reliability
