What Youll Contribute:

• Offer 1:1 and small group assistance, shaping students academic, social, and behavioral growth
• Help students navigate daily routines, transitions, and participate fully in classroom activities
• Follow behavior support plans and IEPs, providing compassionate guidance tailored to each students needs
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and occasional personal care tasks
• Maintain an inclusive, safe, and respectful classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other paraprofessionals as a valued member of the team

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willingness to complete a TB test as required
• Ability to actively engage with students, including standing, walking, and assisting with lifting
• Up-to-date school clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Direct experience in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students facing special needs, behavioral challenges, or autism
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus
• Strong reliability, a patient demeanor, and the ability to collaborate effectively
