As an Instructional Aide, youll be relied on to provide crucial 1:1 or small-group assistance in structured classroom settings. Work closely with teachers, contribute to students academic and behavioral growth, and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students, both individually and in small groups
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as directed
• Facilitate daily routines, classroom transitions, and engagement in activities
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and attend to personal care needs as required
• Help maintain an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certificate, or 36+ college credits
• Minimum age 18
• Ability to meet school health and clearance requirements (including TB test)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed

Preferred Background:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Familiarity with special needs, autism, or behavioral intervention strategies
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
