Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Lancaster, California

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance per direction of teaching and support staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavioral support strategies and follow IEPs as required
• Assist with student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Current TB testing per district policy
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
• Compliance with all required clearances (current or willing to obtain before starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Any experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials welcomed (not required)
