Instructional Aide substitutes are needed for flexible, school-based opportunities supporting students on a per diem, as-needed basis. These positions are perfect for caring professionals eager to make a meaningful contribution in an educational environment, offering 1:1 assistance to students within structured classroom settings.

As an Instructional Aide substitute, youll:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students in classroom environments
• Offer 1:1 or small group assistance directed by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs as appropriate
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs if required
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all

To be considered, you must meet school compliance standards:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current TB test (per district guidelines)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start date

Preferred candidates will bring:

• Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experiencehelpful but not essential
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude
