School Paraprofessional substitutes are sought for flexible, per diem opportunities supporting students in school settings near Lancaster, CA. As an instructional aide working through Spindle, youll engage in meaningful, hands-on work helping students thrive both academically and socially, while enjoying the freedom to choose assignments that fit your schedule.

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Help students stay engaged in classroom lessons and support daily routines
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group academic, behavioral, or social support under teacher guidance
• Assist with transitions, mobility, and personal care responsibilities as needed
• Implement individualized strategies or behavior support plans and follow IEPs if assigned
• Promote inclusion, safety, and respect for every learner

To qualify for a school-based assignment, you must:

• Hold a high school diploma or GED
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a current or recent TB test (per district policy)
• Be able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Complete or be willing to obtain required clearances prior to your first assignment

Candidates who have prior experience in education, child care, special education, behavioral health, or related settings are especially encouraged to apply. Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT approaches is a plus but not required. Reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude are essential.
